Starting with the tour guides, you can obviously tell they have memorized very detailed and bullsh*t scripts that Zak has written for them. Where to start.Just like Zak’s Travel Channel show, “Ghost Adventures”, his Museum is clearly about as fake as it gets. We felt dirty and nauseous and it ruined our day, as it did to many others in our group. Do we really need to see Chris Farley’s death scene photo: “The blood which poured from Farley’s orifices, apparent in the picture, came as a direct result of an exploded heart.” It was like watching violent pornography. One exhibit was of the actual bed and torture devices used by a serial killer of 6 young men and boys, complete with the original bedsheet covered by “blood and the actual feces of one or more victims, and the wooden dildo used to do the deed.” This and several other exhibits were revolting. Many people in our group spoke of wanting to vomit while touring Dr Kevorkians death van or looking at the insane original art of Kevorkian and John Wayne Gacy. But the other half revealed Zak’s obsession with sexual torture, serial killers and celebrity death. To be fair half of the tour was scary ghost and paranormal stuff. Instead we endured a macabre journey into the world of serial killers and violent death. We anticipated an exciting tour of the paranormal, in keeping with the theme of the show Ghost Adventures.
